Belle Vie Farm and Kitchen (www.belleviefarm.com) are starting their sixth year sustainably raising ducks, chickens, and pork on forty acres. The farm is run by a Texan/French couple who market meats and added value products directly to consumers and to Austin restaurants. All feed is organic and milled on the farm. Their pigs are raised in a newly finished wagon wheel system in the woods incorporating cover crops. Since the first season, all poultry have been raised on pasture following a managed intensive grazing system in mobile paddocks.
Join us as we visit Aubrey and Perrine's beautiful pastures 50 minutes east of Georgetown. The address is 4200 CR 481, Thrall, TX 76578. Please Google Map this, but know that it will often tell you to take a small dirt road just before you get to the Belle Vie called CR 312 or Aidina Church Rd. Do not take this road. Proceed further down CR 481 and you will see a red gate on the right hand side.
